33 Per Cent Salary Hike for Odisha Electrical Employees

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has decided to increase the salaries of the electrical employees of the state by 33 percent, informed energy minister Sushant Singh on Monday.

“The salaries of the electrical employees have been enhanced as per the recommendation made by the workers’ board. However, the revised salaries will be applicable retrospective from April 1

this year,” the minister added.

A total of 25, 000 electrical workers of the state will avail the benefits, Singh said.
