Bhubaneswar: Cuttack district outnumbered Khurda in COVID-19 recovered cases as another 3378 patients were discharged from hospitals across the state on Sunday.
Of the day’s recoveries, 540 were reported from Cuttack, followed by 289 from Khurda, 200 from Puri, 176 from Jajpur, 141 from Rayagada, 137 each from Kandhamal and Sundargarh, 130 from Mayurbhanj, 127 from Sambalpur, 123 from Kendrapada, 115 from Jagatsinghpur, 111 from Balasore, 102 from Keonjhar and 100 from Bargarh, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, there were 99 recovered cases in Koraput, 86 in Jharsuguda, 84 in Nabarangpur, 80 in Sonepur, 76 in Kalahandi, 68 in Balangir, 63 in Malkangiri, 49 in Nuapada, 47 in Bhadrak, 45 in Angul, 44 in Dhenkanal, 42 in Ganjam, 36 in Nayagarh, 31 in Gajapati, 14 in Boudh, 7 in Deogarh. There were also 79 recoveries from State Pool.
With the day’s addition, the total recovered cases of Odisha have gone up to 1,73,571 against positive tally of 2,09,374 with 3,922 new cases reported overnight.
