386 New COVID-19 Cases In Bhubaneswar; 38 Of Ganganagar SUH, 21 More Cops Infected

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital saw another surge in COVID-19 cases with 386 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

Among them, 183 are quarantine and 203 are local contact cases.

According to the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 38 cases have been reported from Ganganagar SUH, 15 from a government office at ID Market, Nayapalli, and 11 more from 7th Battalion. Twelve staff of a private hospital have also been infected. Five more cases have also been reported from CRPF campus.

Three of the quarantine cases have travel history to West Bengal and Jharkhand.

The local contact cases include 10 from 7th Battalion, eight from IRC village and two private hospital staff.

The BMC also informed about 213 more patients recovering from the infection.

With 36 deaths and 5124 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 3478 active cases.
