New Delhi: The Padma Awards for 2025 were announced on Saturday.
The list of 139 awardees includes 7 Padma Vibhushan, 19 Padma Bhushan and 113 Padma Shri.
Among this year’s awardees are four from Odisha — Adwaita Charan Gadanayak, Ashok Kumar Mahapatra, Durga Charan Ranbir and Pratibha Satpathy.
Gadanayak, a famous sculptor from Dhenkanal, will be honoured in the Art category, former AIIMS Bhubaneswar Director Mahapatra for Medicine, Odissi exponent Ranbir (Art) and Satpathy for Literature and Education.
