Jharsuguda: Four members of a family have tested positive for COVID-19 in Jharsuguda.
“Four members of a family from West Bengal have tested coronavirus positive. They were put up in an institutional quarantine, but since their swab samples have come out positive, they will be shifted to a COVID hospital,” said PD, DRDA, Tapiram Majhi.
The family, from Rampur in West Bengal, had reached Odisha’s industrial town by the Howrah-Ahmedabad Express on June 2 and were sent to the quarantine facility at Government ITI in Badheimunda.
Their swab samples were sent for coronavirus test on June 6 and the results are positive.
“There is no need to panic. Contact tracing is underway and they will be shifted to a COVID hospital,” Majhi added.
