Bhubaneswar: Four youths from Odisha participated in the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 28) held at Dubai in the UAE.
The four climate activists, Abhisek Mani, Anwesha Dutt, Aswini Kumar Paitai and Punyashloka Panda spoke on irregular rainfall and natural disasters around the world due to climate change.
The activists, working in Youth for Water Mission, stressed on involvement of the youths in bringing changes to control climate change for development of the society. They gave a detailed account of effects of climate change in context of Odisha.
They also interacted with Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Singh Baghela, director of National Water Mission Archana Verma, ‘Water Man’ of India Rajendra Singh and Miss Nepal 2023 Srachachaha.
