Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported recovery of 4048 more patients from COVID-19 and their discharge from different hospitals on Friday.
Of the patients who recovered on the day, 683 are from Khurda district, 466 from Cuttack, 195 from Puri, 176 from Jajpur, 167 from Angul, 146 from Kandhamal, 142 from Kendrapada, 133 from Nabarangpur, 130 from Jagatsinghpur, 118 from Bhadrak, 115 from Balasore, 111 from Sambalpur, 108 from Mayurbhanj, 107 from Keonjhar, 106 from Bargarh and 101 from Nuapada district.
According to Health and Family Welfare department, there were also 99 recovered cases in Rayagada, 98 in Sundargarh, 81 in Jharsuguda, 64 in Koraput, 61 in Sonepur, 53 in Kalahandi, 48 in Malkangiri, 46 in Nayagarh, 45 in Balangir, 39 in Ganjam, 35 in Boudh, 33 in Dhenkanal, 16 in Deogarh, 13 in Gajapati,. Besides, 313 recoveries were registered from State Pool.
With the day’s figure, the total recovered cases in Odisha went up to 1,94,128 against overnight addition of 3600 new cases taking the COVID-19 positive tally to 2,26,334.
