441 New COVID Cases Reported In Odisha, 17% Children
Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in Odisha dropped below 500 for the second consecutive day on Saturday as 441 more people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 467 new cases on Friday, 524 on Thursday, 559 on Wednesday, and 556 on Tuesday.
Among them, 75 cases (17 per cent) are below the age of 18 years.
While 253 are from quarantine, 188 are local contact cases. Khurda district with 205 infections accounted for almost 46 per cent of the daily count. Cuttack saw 37 new cases. Four districts reported nil cases.

Besides, 50 are from the state pool.
With these cases detected from 69,414 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.63 per cent.
While the COVID-19 tally has touched 1037964, Odisha now has 4,581 active cases.
