5 Accused In Bomb Blast Case Arrested In Odisha’s Puri
Puri: A special team of police have arrested all 5 persons of a group, who had allegedly exploded bombs targeting a member of a rival group, in Odisha’s Puri town.
Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, City DSP Prashant Kumar Sahu said the special team led by himself, special squad and IIC of Puri Sadar police station conducted raids on different places outside the town after getting information regarding the whereabouts of the accused.
During the raids, all the five accused, who were trying to escape to outside the state, were arrested. The police team seized 4 live bombs, 2 motorcycles and parts of exploded bombs from the location, he added.
The accused had hurled bombs at the house of Bijay Khuntia in Mukunda Mishra Nagar in the own over old rivalry on July 27, the DSP said.
