Jagatsinghpur: Five more persons have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the district.
Of the five new cases, three belong to Balikuda block and two are of Tirtol. All of them are returnees from outside Odisha.
While Balikuda patients came from Delhi, Haryana and Tamil Nadu, those of Tirtol returned from Maharashtra and West Bengal.
All the corona positive persons have been admitted in block-level Temporary Medical Centres (TMCs).
With the latest identification, the total COVID-19 cases in the district have gone up to 373, while 281 persons have recovered from the disease. There are 92 active cases in the district at present.
