Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha surged to 10624 on Wednesday after 527 more people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to I & PR department, 338 of these cases have been detected in quarantine centres while 189 are local contacts.
Ganjam reported the highest of 215 cases followed by 78 in Sundargarh and 50 in Khurda.
