Bhubaneswar: A total of 55 students, who will go for higher studies foreign countries, registered for their early inoculation with the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Sunday.
Out of the 55, 22 are seeking admission to universities in the UK, while 8 to 10 will continue their higher studies in the US and Ukraine, reported The New Indian Express.
Following verification of the registrations, the BMC will declare a date to vaccinate them.
According to BMC announcement, students over 18 years of age who require immunisation to travel abroad for higher studies should dial the 1929 helpline and book appointments.
The students need to produce a verified confirmation letter from the foreign university concerned during registration and while inoculation, they need to show the Aadhaar card or any other ID proof.
Municipal Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Singh informed that the students will be vaccinated with Covishield.
