57 Babies Born In COVID Hospitals In Odisha’s Ganjam

Berhampur: The COVID-19 hostspot Ganjam district has another high on its records. As many as 57 babies have been born at the COVID hospitals in the district till date.

According to district administration sources, of the total babies, 32 were born to the mothers who were infected by coronavirus. Of them, 16 are boys and the rest are girls.

District collector Vijay Amruta Kulange none of the newborns has symptoms of COVID-19 despite being born to positive mothers. The mothers have also recovered from the disease following the treatment.

With 144 deaths and 11,548 recoveries, the Ganjam district now has 1875 active cases.
