Jeypore: The COVID-19 tally in Koraput district rose to 558 on Tuesday with an overnight addition of 73 fresh cases.
Of these new cases, 59 are direct contacts of previous positive cases. and 29 of them are from containment zones.
The rest 14 are returnees from outside the state and other districts in Odisha. Of them, 11 cases have been reported from home quarantine and three from a temporary medical centre (TMC).
One of these new patients is under treatment at Bhubaneswar. Three health personnel have also been infected.
