Bhubaneswar: The secretary to Chief Minister (Transformation and Initiatives), V Karthikeyan Pandian, on Wednesday reviewed the ongoing development works at Lingaraj Temple In Old Town area here.
Accompanied by Works secretary Krishan Kumar, Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Sahu and Khurda ADM Manoranjan Mallick, Pandian arrived at the temple around 4.30 am.
After having darshan of Lord Siva, Pandian reviewed the ongoing development works of the temple.
Notably, the state government had recently announced a package of Rs 8.5 crore for beautification of the temple and its periphery on the basis of which an old market complex near the temple was demolished by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) and the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
