Bhubaneswar: Six new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the capital city in the last 24 hours.
Of them, one is from quarantine and rest five are local contact cases, informed Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday.
Out of five local contact cases, two were reported from Mancheswar area and one each from Jharpada, Badagada and Tankapani Road.
Meanwhile, six patients have been cured of the disease during the 24-hour period. A total of 31,962 people have been infected by the virus in Bhubaneswar so far, of whom 31,621 have recovered. While 248 have succumbed to the disease, there are 72 active cases at present.
