Bhubaneswar: About 60 per cent of adolescents in Odisha suffer from anaemia, said a report by the Coalition for Food and Nutrition Security (CFNS), a New Delhi-based research body.
According to the report, 41.5 per cent of girls and 18.3 of boys suffer from anaemia. Among them, 8 per cent have poor growth rate and height.
Besides, 38.9 per cent have attained more height with less overall growth while 29.2 per cent have less weight in proportion to their age, the report added.
