Jajpur: The Jajpur Collector, Ranjan Kumar Das, on Thursday said that around 600-700 people had arrived in the district from West Bengal, especially from Kolkata, between March 29 and 30.
“They have been traced with help of sarpanchs and being kept in institutional quarantine since they had violated the self-isolation norms,” he said.
Jajpur has so far reported 12 COVID-19 cases and most of them are linked to Bengal. Among them, only one has recovered from the disease.
