Bhubaneswar: Women & Child Development and Mission Shakti Minister, Tukuni Sahu on Saturday informed the State Assembly that a total of 602 minor children from Odisha have gone missing in the last three months.
The minister, while replying to a question of the Congress member Suresh Routray, said that of the 602 missing children, 502 are minor girls and 100 minor boys.
“Of 502 girls, police have traced the whereabouts of 79 girls and registered 455 cases. Besides, the whereabouts of 31 boys have been traced and 95 cases registered,” she added.
