Cuttack COVID Count Rises To 10, Odisha Reports 65 New Cases

Bhubaneswar: The number of COVID-19 positive cases went up to 737 in Odisha with 65 more cases reported on Saturday. These included six fresh cases in Cuttack, taking the city’s count to double figures (10).

Of the other new cases reported on Saturday, 31 are from Jajpur followed by Ganjam (13), Kendrapara (4), Puri (4), Khurda (3), Mayurbhanj (2) and Nayagarh (2), the Family and Welfare Department tweeted.

Out of 65 patients, 62 are in government quarantine centres while three are in home quarantine.

Of the 737 cases in the state, 568 are active while 166 patients have been cured. The state has reported three deaths so far.

While Ganjam leads with 277 positive cases, Jajpur is second with 121 followed by Balasore (102), Khurda (56), Bhadrak (46), Kendrapara (26), Sundargarh (26), Puri (18), Angul (15), Mayurbhanj (11), Cuttack 10, Nayagarh (6), Jagatsinghpur (5), Boudh (4), Keonjhar (4), Balangir (2), Deogarh (2), Jharsuguda (2), Kalahandi (2), Dhenkanal (1) and Koraput (1).
