Bhubaneswar: Another 262 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the disease in Odisha, taking the cured tally to 6,486.
According to the Health and Family Welfare department tweet, the highest of 73 patients have recovered from Ganjam district, followed by 49 from Gajapati, 25 from Jagatsinghpur, 16 from Rayagada, 15 from Cuttack, 14 from Bargarh, 13 from Khurda, 12 each from Bhadrak and Puri, 8 from Kendrapada, 4 each from Jajpur, Sundargarh, 3 each from Angul, Balasore, Nayagarh and Nabarangpur and 1 each from Boudh, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Koraput and Mayurbhanj.
Odisha has so far reported 9526 COVID-19 cases. The virus has claimed 38 lives in the state.
Monday saw 456 fresh cases and two deaths due to coronavirus.
