Berhampur: A 7 feet long python was rescued on Lanjipalli-Ankuli Road in front of Roland College here on Thursday.
After spotting the snake, the local people informed Snake Helpline member Swadhin Kumar Sahu. The Snake Helpline members reached the spot and rescued the snake.
Later, they handed over the python to Forest officials who released it in the nearest forest.
