Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has transferred and posted seven OAS officers as Block Development Officers (BDOs), and reverted three others to the Revenue and Disaster Management (R&DM) department.
According to the official notification, Akash Ranjan Sahoo, serving as Kolnara tehsildar in Rayagada, has been appointed BDO of Naktideul block in Sambalpur district. Deputy Sub-Collector (DSR) in Jajpur Tilottama Prusty has been posted as BDO of Rajnagar block in Kendrapada.
Pritibala Rana, Gania tehsildar in Nayagarh, has been transferred to Odagaon Block as the new BDO in the same district. Sarat Kumar Bag, Special Land Acquisition Officer (LAO) at the Rengali Irrigation Project in Sukinda, Jajpur, has been posted as BDO of Binika block in Sonepur.
Sunil Kumar Tudu, Kashipur tehsildar in Rayagada, has been shifted to Simulia block in Balasore, while Pratik Kar, Bangiriposhi tehsildar in Mayurbhanj, will replace Sanjib Kumar Sahu as BDO of Sonepur block in Sonepur district.
Sahu has been moved to Mahakalpada block in Kendrapada.
Apart from these appointments, the department has reverted Soumyashree Panigrahi, incumbent BDO of Mahakalpada Block in Kendrapada, Arjuni Kujur, who was on deputation as deputy collector of Deogarh, and Jayajagat Sahu, recently appointed as BDO of Belaguntha block, to R&DM department.
