Cuttack: As many as 23 persons from the district including seven employees of SCB Medical College and Hospital tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday, official sources said.
Apart from SCB staff, four patients of the hospital’s isolation ward and a person from Sishu Bhawan here also tested positive for COVID-19 in the city.
While Choudwar reported five positive cases, Pira Bazaar in Jagatpur has one.
Three persons from Athagarh and one from Badamba in the district have also tested positive for the virus, the sources said.
