Bhubaneswar: Around 70 corporate leaders attended an event organised by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University at Bengaluru, aimed at fostering leadership and collaboration across disciplines.
Olympian Anju Bobby George, the first Indian to win a medal in the World Athletics championship, was among prominent personalities who addressed the event titled ‘Allyship++’.
Anju Bobby, who joined the programme virtually, spoke on ‘Leadership in Sports’ and inspired the audience with her insights gathered over years of experience.
SOA Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda, who delivered the inaugural address, highlighted the importance of leadership.
Dr Raj Kumar Hota, SOA’s Dean (Corporate Relations and Placement), was the convenor of the event.
A panel discussion, moderated by Open Link Foundation Chief Strategist Rajeev Kumar Singh, dwelt on current issues and future trends in leadership and corporate relations.
The panelists included Global Head, Engineering Academy of L & T Technology Services P.B. Kotur, CHRO, Torry Harris Integration Solutions C. Aparna, BNY Mellon Vice-President Baliram Mutagekar and Chief People Officer, Tally Solutions Private Ltd Dr SJ Naganagouda.
