Bhubaneswar: Seventy cases of dengue were reported in Odisha’s capital from January to June this year.
This was stated by Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das in response to a question posed by BJD MLA Prafulla Samal in the Assembly on Monday.
“Testing facilities are available for free at Khurda district headquarters hospital, Capital Hospital, RMRC and AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Dedicated dengue wards have been set up,” the minister said, on measures taken to check its spread.
Sanitation drives, awareness programmes and fogging were also being undertaken, he added.
