New Delhi: Alcohol in the country’s capital will cost more as the Delhi government on Monday imposed a 70 per cent ‘Special Corona Fee’ on liquor bottles.
The new rate will be applicable from Tuesday and the 70 per cent ‘Special Corona Fee’ will be charged on the MRP.
The move will help boost government revenue, which has been down to Rs 300 crore in April this year from Rs 3,500 crore in April 2019.
