Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha rose to 316001 on Wednesday with 730 fresh infections being reported in the last 24 hours.
Among the new cases, 419 are quarantine and 311 local contacts.
Out of 30 districts, Mayurbhanj reported the highest 68 cases followed by Khurda (65), Sundargarh (57), Balasore (53), Cuttack (49), Nuapada (46), Angul (44), Balangir (40), Keonjhar (40), Kalahandi (33), Puri (29), Jajpur (25), Jharsuguda (25), Jagatsinghpur (24), Bargarh (21), Kendrapada (14), Ganjam (12), Sambalpur (9), Sonepur (9), Nayagarh (8), Rayagada (8), Bhadrak (7), Dhenkanal (7), Nabarangpur (7), Koraput (5), Deogarh (4), Gajapati (4), Boudh (1) and Kandhamal (1).
Besides, the state poll has 12 cases.
