Bhubaneswar: A day after reporting close to 100 new COVID-19 infections, Odisha saw a slight drop in daily caseload on Thursday.
According to the I & PR department, 81 more people in 22 districts have tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 97 new cases on Wednesday.
Among the new cases, 49 are quarantine and 32 local contacts.
Sambalpur reported the highest of 15 cases followed by Mayurbhanj (8) and Bargarh (7).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in Odisha has touched 337529. While 334767 have recovered from the disease, the number of active cases stands at 792.
