86-Year-Old Woman In Odisha Beats COVID-19

Bhubaneswar: Another senior citizen, Nirupama Mohapatra, defeated COVID-19 at the SUM COVID Hospital here on Wednesday.

The 86-year-old woman of Dhenkanal tested positive for Coronavirus recently, following which she was advised to remain in home isolation. She, however, had to be admitted to the district hospital there as her condition deteriorated. Later, she was referred to SUM COVID Hospital for treatment. The medical team looked after her treatment enabling her to get discharged from the hospital on Wednesday.

Her son Itikanta Mohapatra has thanked the doctors and nurses of the SUM COVID Hospital for their efforts.
