9 More Police Personnel Test Positive For COVID-19 In Odisha’s Ganjam

Berhampur: Nine more police personnel of Berhampur tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday.

According to official sources, the swab samples of the police personnel were sent earlier for test and the report has confirmed corona positive.

Earlier in the day,  two women of the district, one of them suffering from chronic kidney disease, succumbed to COVID-19. They passed away while undergoing treatment at COVID hospital, the Health department sources said.

On Sunday, four policemen had tested positive for COVID-19 in the district. As many as 108 frontline workers have tested positive for the virus since June 13.

While 41 COVID-19 patients have recovered, total 1,379 corona positive cases have been registered in the district.
