Bhubaneswar: Similiguda in Odisha’s Koraput district was the coldest for the second consecutive day at 7.6 degree Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Thursday.
Besides Similiguda, eight other places in the state recorded a minimum temperature below 14 degree Celsius.

The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack saw the mercury drop to 16.5 and 16.6 degree Celsius respectively.
According to the IMD, dry weather will continue to prevail in Odisha with the minimum temperature remaining below 2-4 degree Celsius for the next four to five days.
