Bhubaneswar: As many as 908 patients recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged from hospitals across the state on Friday.
The recoveries during the last 24 hours included 83 from Khurda district, 65 from Angul, 63 from Cuttack, 56 from Mayurbhanj, 54 from Sundargarh, 51 each from Jharsuguda and Keonjhar, 49 from Balasore, 42 from Jajpur and 40 from Balangir, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, there were 39 recoveries in Kendrapada, 36 in Jagatsinghpur, 36 in Kalahandi, 32 in Nuapada, 31 in Puri, 26 in Bargarh, 24 in Sambalpur, 17 in Bhadrak, 12 each in Kandhamal, Koraput and Nabarangpur, 10 each in Dhenkanal, Ganjam and Malkangiri, 7 in Sonepur, 6 in Boudh, 4 in Gajapati, 3 in Nayagarh, 2 each in Deogarh and Rayagada and 23 from State Pool.
The number of total recovered patients in Odisha now stand at 3,09,747 against COVID-19 positive tally of 3,17,239 with 594 more people infected by the virus in the last 24 hours.
