97.89% Clear Annual Matric Exam In Odisha; Girls Outshine Boys This Time Too

Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Friday announced the results of the annual Matric/High School Certificate (HSC) Examination-2021.

School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash declared the results at BSE office in Cuttack. “A pass percentage of 97.89 has been registered with 5,62,010 students of the total 5,74,125 examinees clearing the exam,” informed Dash.

A2 – 22131

B1 – 52299

B2 – 94475

C – 137014

Fail – 7703

Altogether, 2,80,352 boys and 2,81,658 girls have passed the exam.

The ex-regular students’ pass percentage stood at 88 this year. The pass percentage among those who took Madhyama Exam is 98.07.

“Students dissatisfied with this result can appear in the physical examination which will be held once the COVID situation improves. They can fill up forms for the same from July 5,” board president Ramashis Hazra said.
