Two medical students from China were admitted to the hospital earlier. One among them, Mryutunjay Muni of Phulbani, was referred to the premier hospital after he complained of prolong cold and cough after returning home on January 11.

The other medical student was admitted to the hospital on Sunday after she underwent thermal screening at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar and was found in poor health.

Meanwhile, four samples, which were sent to National Institute of Virology in Pune from Odisha have tested negative for novel coronavirus.

Results of one person is awaited, sources said.

To check the Coronavirus infection, the Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department on Monday issued four telephone numbers (0674-2390466/9439994857/9439991221/9437040564) and requested people to immediately inform about health of those who have arrived in the state from China, Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore.

The virus has so far claimed 361 lives in China with 17,205 confirmed cases and 475 discharged from hospital, according to the National Health Commission.
