Cuttack: Odisha Police has invited applications for 231 posts of drivers in Police Motor Transport. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website: www.odishapolice.gov.in, http://oprecruitment.in .
The application process starts from Saturday (March 7) and the last date for applying is March 28. The tentative date for the physical test is March 30.
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have passed Class-10 or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Must know how to speak, read and write Odia.
- Must have passed Odia as a subject in High School exams or ME equivalent exam conducted by the department concerned.
- Must have a valid driving license for heavy/light motor vehicle
Application fee: Rs 150/- for UR candidates. For candidates belonging to other categories, the application fee is Rs 30/-.
Age Limit: Candidate must be between 18-23 years as on January 1, 2020. Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST and ex-servicemen. Candidates are advised to check the official notification for detailed information.
Selection Process
Candidates will have to go through physical fitness test, medical test, written test.
