Balasore: Three fishermen are feared drowned as their boat capsized in the Bay of Bengal near Kirtania in Jaleswar area of Balasore district on Tuesday.
There were six fishermen on board. “While three fishermen were immediately rescued, the others could not be traced despite our best efforts. Rescue operations are still underway,” a police officer said.
Locals said strong winds might have overturned the ill-fated boat in the middle of the sea, leading to the mishap.
