New Delhi: As per the decision taken by the Civil Aviation Ministry, a special flight with Odia repatriates and stranded visitors from the State will land at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
The Air India flight that will operate from New Delhi as hub airport will take off from Dubai and land here directly. The Bhubaneswar airport authorities have been informed about the special flight by the Ministry.
Though Bhubaneswar airport officials did not reveal the details of the passengers, they said necessary permission has been granted to the air traffic control in the airport for safe landing of the flight.
Earlier, the Civil Aviation Ministry had included Odisha in the list of States which were allowed the flight operation to bring their people.
