Bhubaneswar: After the success of the music video ‘Ghar Jana Hai,’ California-based Odia vocalist Konark Sarangi, has come up with his second Hindi single ‘Hausla Naa Ruthe – The Stories Untold’. It is based on the true story of courageous Charu Maa of Gundalba village near Sun Temple in Konark.

“The place was devastated during 1999 Super Cyclone. While many inhabitants left the place in search of livelihood, braveheart Charu Maa and 30 women stayed back in the village to take up forestation. The music video is an attempt to tell her story,” said Konark, who is working as an engineer in USA.
