Commissionerate Police Issues Traffic Advisory For ISL Football Match
Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police on Friday issued an advisory to facilitate proper traffic management during the ISL football match between Jamshedpur FC and Bengaluru FC scheduled to be played at Kalinga Stadium here on February 25 from 8 pm to 10 pm.
In view of the movement of a large number of people and vehicles towards Kalinga Stadium, restriction will be imposed on vehicular traffic between 4 pm to 11 pm. Movement of vehicles will be restricted from Behera Sahi Chhack to Nicco Park Chhack and vice-versa as this road will be used for parking purposes.
No vehicle without pass shall be allowed to enter Kalinga Stadium. Utility vehicles and vehicles of media personnel with pass shall be allowed to enter through gate no-1, the advisory stated.
Vehicle pass holders coming to the stadium through gate no-1 can park their vehicles at P-1. Similarly, pass holders entering the stadium gate no-8 can park their vehicles at P-6 and 7 and walk down to enter the main stadium.
Besides, vehicle pass holders entering the stadium through gate no-9 can proceed to inner circle (T) slider gate “D” can drop the pass holders and then exit (T) slider gate “C” and park their vehicles at P-5.
Apart from that, the pass/ticket holders coming from Nandankanan side have been advised to park their vehicles at Behera Sahi (two wheelers) or at Nicco Park road (type of vehicles) and proceed on foot to the stadium through designated gate.
Pass/ticket holders coming from either Khandagiri side or Cuttack side on National Highway-16 shall proceed towards Regional Institute of Education or Nicco Park road via Acharya Vihar crossing to park their vehicles and thereafter proceed on foot to the stadium.
Those coming from CRP crossing side on NH-16 may park their vehicles at Ravan Podi Ground in Nayapalli and thereafter proceed on foot to the stadium.
Invitees with vehicle pass coming from any direction should proceed to the stadium and enter through gate no-1, 8 and 9.
