CHSE Steps Up Measures Against Leakage Of Plus II Question Papers
Bhubaneswar: Aware of the alleged leakage of MIL and English question papers in the ongoing annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations in Odisha, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has decided to take adequate measures to ensure that such incident would not be repeated during the annual Plus Two examinations beginning from March 6.
In a letter to all centre superintendents, CHSE chairperson Amarendra Patnaik has asked them to ensure that no student is allowed to enter the examination hall with mobile phone or any electronic equipment. He also directed them not to allow any examiner or any other staff to carry their mobile phone into the examination hall.
While the centre superintendents are allowed to carry their mobile phone into the examination hall, the examiners would be allowed to enter the examination hall without mobile phone. The centre superintendents will make arrangements to keep the mobile phone of the examiners inside a separate room till the examination is over, the order said.
The Council has conducted the annual Plus Two practical examinations in Science and Arts from January 29 to February 8.
The annual Plus Two Theory examinations would be concluded on March 29.
