Odisha Reports 10 New COVID-19 Deaths, Toll Crosses 200

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll in Odisha rose to 207 on Monday with 10 more patients succumbing to the disease in the last 24 hours.

Six of the deceased were also suffering from comorbidity, the Health Department informed.

  1. A 48-year-old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from diabetes.
  2. A 66 -year-old male of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from diabetes and hypertension.
  3. A 34 -year-old male of Gajapati district.
  4. A 70 -year-old male of Rayagada district who was also suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
  5. A 54 -year-old male of Ganjam district.
  6. A 64 -year-old male of Rayagada district who was also suffering from diabetes, hypertension, hypothyroidism and morbid obesity.
  7. A 61 -year-old male of Rayagada district.
  8. A 54 -year-old female of Ganjam district.
  9. A 48 -year-old male of Gajapati district who was also suffering from Hepatitis-B and diabetes.
  10. A 63 -year-old male of Khurda district who was also suffering from hypertension, diabetes and coronary artery disease.

With the 10 new deaths, the virus has so far claimed 106 lives in Ganjam district, 28 in Khurda, 11 in Cuttack, 13 in Gajapati, 10 in Sundargarh, 10 in Rayagada, three each in Puri, Nayagarh and Balasore, two each in Kandhamal, Kendrapada, Malkangiri, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kalahandi and Angul and one each in Bargarh, Jhasuguda, and Sambalpur.
