Malkangiri: A nine feet long king cobra was rescued in front of a COVID hospital in Malkangiri on Wednesday evening.
The locals spotted the king cobra on the main road near the hospital. On being informed, a member of the Snake Helpline rushed to the spot and rescued the king cobra.
It was later released into the nearby forest in the presence of forest officials.
