Kendrapada: The COVID-19 tally in the coastal district of Kendrapada rose to 601 on Thursday with 27 new cases being detected in the last 24 hours.
Among them, one case is from Kendrapada Municipality while the remaining 26 are from seven blocks of Aul (6), Kendrapada (7), Derabish (6), Mahakalpada (2), Pattamundai (2), Rajkanika (2) and Rajnagar (1).
The district has reported 61 new positive cases since August 1.
With 442 recoveries, Kendrapada now has 156 active cases.
