Odisha CM Directs MLAs To Help JEE/NEET Candidates
Bhubaneswar: With less than 48 hours left for JEE (Main) exam, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday appealed to the BJD MLAs to ensure the safety of JEE and NEET examinees in the state, which is going through the twin problems of coronavirus and flood.
“Students are the future of the nation and the State. They are part of our family. Hence, it is our responsibility to ensure that they do not face any problems in appearing the JEE (Main) and NEET (UG) exam,” he said.
The CM further said that the has made arrangements for free transportation and accommodation of the needy examinees.
The Odisha government has also lifted lockdown in seven cities where the exams are being conducted.

He also advised the MLAs to be with the people and COVID warriors during this critical phase of the fight against the virus. “We have to work hard to improve the COVID-19 situation in Khurda and Cuttack,” he said.
Naveen asked to help the 20 lakh migrant workers, who have returned to the state, and people affected by floods. “The state government will provide all possible assistance to alleviate their sufferings,” he added.
