Know Changes In LPG Cylinder Delivery System, Railway Time Table From Nov 1
New Delhi: Come November 1 and many rules, from LPG cylinder delivery to the railway time table, will change.
LPG delivery system: Delivery Authentication Code (DAC)
Oil companies will implement a DAC for customers who get LPG cylinders delivered at home. They will have to furnish a one-time password (OTP) to get their cylinders home delivered. DAC is already underway in Jaipur as a pilot project, Zee News reported. It will now be implemented in 100 smart cities
Customers will get a code on their registered mobile number. Successful delivery of an LPG cylinder will only take place when the customer provides the OTP Code to the delivery person.
High-security registration plates and colour-coded stickers; online booking
Delhi government will resume the online booking for high-security registration plates and colour-coded stickers on a trial basis in a few areas of the national capital. In the new version of the website, which will be available for the public from November 1, a single website URL, through SIAM, will be available for booking HSRP and colour coded stickers, Zee News reported.
After the HSRP or Colour- Coded Sticker has been booked, consumers will get a real-time update of each stage of the processing, through SMS. The customer will be notified at least two days prior to the date of appointment so that there is no delay in delivery. Customers can also opt for home delivery of the plate through the website.
Indane Gas booking number
Indane Gas booking number will be changed from November 1. The new number will be the same for the whole country – call and SMS –7718955555.
Railway time table
Earlier, Indian Railways was going to change the time table from October 31. Now, the new timings will begin from November 1.

LPG Cylinder Prices
Oil marketing companies revise the prices of LPG on the first day of every month depending on the crude rates in the international markets, the report added.
