Jaipur: Police on Sunday seized three cattle-laden trucks from Panikolili in Jajpur district.
The truck ferrying more then 200 cows were intercepted by a group of Bajrang Dal activists. The cows were being reportedly illegally trafficked to West Bengal. Some cattle were found dead inside the trucks. A case has been registered and investigation is on to trace the persons involved, police sources said.
On Saturday, a person and 13 cows were killed after the truck carrying them overturned near Madhupatna Square in Cuttack district.
