Rourkela: Police have arrested a minor boy and sent him to juvenile home for allegedly raping his younger sister in Sundargarh district.
According to sources, the girl belonging to Kadamdahi under Koira police limits revealed during the counselling that she was raped by the son of her father’s elder brother several times. The accused, who is older than her, would come to her room after everybody slept at night and rape her, she said.
She did not tell her parents as the brother had threatened her that he would kill her parents if she revealed it to anybody.
However, her parents suspected that she was pregnant and took her to the local hospital where the doctor said she was two-month pregnant. They filed a complaint against the girl’s brother at Koira police station on Monday.
