Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll in Odisha rose to 1,836 on Sunday with four more patients succumbing to the disease in the last 24 hours.
Of the new deaths, one was reported from Bhubaneswar. Besides, one death each was reported from Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur and Sundergarh districts.
The Health Department identified the deceased as:
- A 75-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes & Coronary Artery Disease.
- An 86-year-old male of Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from Hypertension, Benign prostatic hyperplasia & Lower Respiratory Tract Infections.
- A 62-year-old female of Sambalpur district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
- A 53-year-old female of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes.
