For the purpose, JSPL has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sightsavers India to provide Primary Eye Health Services to more than 1500 truck drivers in the next four months.

Expressing his happiness over the realisation of his vision of rolling out an eye health check-up and remedial measures for truck drivers, JSPL Chairman Naveen Jindal in a message said, “Truck Drivers play a pivotal role in economic growth of the country. They seamlessly contribute to the country’s holistic progress and prosperity. JSPL’s CSR initiative of eye health check-up of truck drivers will not only ensure healthy eye sight of our entire driver brothers but will also be a well-meaning step to secure road safety”.

Speaking on the occasion Shallu Jindal said, “The programme not only provides primary and referral eye care services, but also includes provision for providing required spectacles and awareness drive”.
